Default Walther p88-Price and review

Hello all,
I own a Walther P88(The one with long barrel, not the compact version).I have never shot it and want to sell it(I want to buy a new rifle).I've received the gun from a cousin who shot only 200 rnds with it.
Can you tell me more about this weapon and a give me a realitstic price for it?
Is it a good handgun?

Thanks in advance for the response!

Check out Gun Broker, Guns America etc and see what they are going for. Seems like a nice gun that has a collectable market. You should do well.

I looked on gunbroker and saw two, one with starting bid of $1400 and the other $1499 with no bids on either yet.

This is what the 2014 edition of The Standard Catalog of Firearms says:

NIB......$1700
Exc......$1525
V.G......$1275
Good....$975
Fair......$700
Poor.....$400

Good luck.

Gun confiscation will not happen in my lifetime.
