I have the opportunity to pick up a Walther P1 with the beefed up frame and the hex bolt w/2 mags for $350. Think that is a fair price???

I paid $245 without the hex bolt several years ago.
I'd give him a solid $300 offer and go from there. Main thing being.....what YOU want.

The P1's are great guns. Not sure what the "beefed up" part is. Most folks that bought them, don't sell them. The best price is what you are willing to pay.

If it's the average P1, I would have to say no. They still can be had for less if you shop around. Get educated at the P38 forum. They have a section on post-war P38/P1's.
