Default Walther Model 9 .25 ACP

I've recently acquired a Model 9 from my Grandfather, and I've been going through the first maintenance that it's been through in over forty years.
I have, however, run into a slight problem. The weapon has successfully dry-fired only once, quite by accident. Any other time that I've cocked the weapon, it hasn't responded to the trigger, leaving the rear indicator visible. All of the parts are intact, barring something small that I've overlooked. I'm going to a bookstore tomorrow to dig up a cross-section and see what stands out, but I decided to see if anyone has any suggestions.

My best suggestion is to take it to a few gunsmiths and ask for an estimate to repair it. Sounds like a spring might have broken someplace.
