Default Visiting Reno, Nevada from California.

Hey guys/gals

I will be taking a little weekend getaway to Reno, Nevada in April and I had some concerns about traveling with my Glock 17.

1.Does anyone know the laws on traveling over the state line of California over into Nevada?

2. Is open carry prohibited in Reno, Nevada?

3. Would it be legal to have the gun in my hotel room?

Once again I am all for self-defense, so my real concern is would bringing my firearm be to cumbersome rather than just leaving it at home?

Please give me some insight on this.
