That Said I wouldnt run it thru my Bushie, Colt or Stag AR-15's, thats just because I choose not too..
I treat my AK like a Whore Mistress and the AR's gentle and kind like the Wife..
I do have a stash of 2k in .45 Rds of Steel ammo for my .45 and 500 for the wifes 9mm, but thats in case of the SHTF scenario..
Exactly cheap russian ammo thru cheap russian firearms

I run it through my Colt's, SIGs, Berettas, etc. Why use expensive brass cased ammo for 7 yard rapid fire practice???

I don't see how Tula ammo is cheaper than brass ammo. I can get 500 rounds of 9mm winchester ranger ammo for $129. If I wanted to settle for less than a high pressure NATO load I can get 9mm ammo cheaper.

5.56 ammo is a lot less expensive than any pistol ammo. I don't care to buy 5.56 ammo or I would find it a lot cheaper than the price you are quoting.

I shoot a lot of 9mm and .45 acp Tula. I have never had any issues with it. It is a bit dirty, but I am going to clean my weapons after firing anyway, so, no problem. I don't reload, so cheap is my way to go on plinkers.

I buy alot of Tula in .223 it costs me roughly $200 for 1000 rds picked up 25 miles from my house . Cheapest I can get brass for around here is $329 for 1000 rds plus freight or $359 picked up locally . I dont reload so I really have no use for brass , I do have some bolt rifles that wont shoot steel so yes I do own some brass and I do keep it ,but not near as much as steel cased ammo .
10,000 rds of steel for $2000 or 6000 rds of brass for $2000 . its doesnt seem like much difference until you get in the big numbers .
if your gun runs it run it , I dont notice much difference in brass than Tula in the ARs as far as being cleaner .
