Traded the Kimber
I had to take all four cats to the vet this week for shots, exams, one X-ray and one blood panel. The vet earned just under $600. for these services.
Because we're moving at the end of the month, this cut severely into our moving money. My stainless Kimber Pro Carry II was a nice pistol, but I never really warmed up to it. So I listed it on a CA gun forum where I trade a lot. I made the ad for cash, or a Ruger GP100 and cash. At one o'clock, I'm trading the Kimber for a 6" blue GP100 with only 50 rounds fired plus cash. :D That will put some money back into out moving fund and it will give me back the handgun of my forum name. I can't very well be CA357 without a .357, now can I? Assuming the trade happens, I'll post pics later after the deal is done. |
Sounds like you worked a potential bummer into a workable situation. :D
|
Well good luck to ya but I think I would have just used to Kimber to take care of the sick cats.
|
Well then, I'm glad I'm not you.

Good deal CA! What's that old saying?
"When life gives you lemons, trade the lemons for a .357 +cash":D |
Good alternative to a tough situation Don. (or should I say CA357)
Now you can forget about that girl named gun (:p) and look forward to getting a Colt some where down the road! |
It's a done deal. I swapped for a like new blued 6" GP100 plus some dough. :)
Now I have to wait ten days to bail it out of stinkin' Kalifornia gun jail. |

Congrats Don!

Sounds like a win win situation to me. You now are a proud .357 owner again. Good deal Don.
