Any handgun, pistol or revovler, that anyone enjoys holding, admiring, or shooting, is not useless.

As was said of the old town drunk: "He sure is a good bad example."

I just checked the Hodgdon website. The 44 mag out of a pistol is a max speed of 1326 fps with a 300 grain bullet.

The 45-70 pistol load is rate at over 2000 fps with a 300 grain bullet.

I have shot 300 grain bullets out of my Super Blackhawk. Those are downright punishing. But I still want the 45-70! Punishing or not!

This would be a lot easier if we were talking long guns. But...

The Kel Tec PMR 30 comes to mind. Just because it could be fun. I could foresee selling it shortly after purchase though.

Then there is the one that I would like to start a display collection with. Smith & Wesson Model 3.

I think the PMR 30 would be a wonderful selling gun, if kel tec would bother to sell it again. I think the .22 mag cartridge can more than handle many things bigger than squirrels. Think about of of theses with a suppressor.

A Philadelphia derringer of the type the late great John Wilkes Booth used on Lincoln.

I want a Mauser C/96 in .30 Mauser and one in 9mm.
I've always wanted one after I watched that Cling Eastwood movie, Joe Kidd. Plus, the historical value and they just look awesome.
