4. CZ 75 P-01 in 9mm
5. FNH FNX-40 in 40 S&W or the FNP-45 Tactical
This is a fine list and whomever recovers them (following your predictable zombie consumption) will greatly appreciate your exquisite taste for quality when they commandeer your collection. And your eternal soul will be thankful if it is dispatched by one of these fine weapons.

Seriously though...SHTF (whatever among the two dozen senarios you might imagine)...Shotguns are probably the most versatile option. Rifles matter. Long range matters. High capacity matters. Sound suppression matters.

So I guess I'd prefer an SBR AR-15, 18" AR-10 (308win), Ruger 10/22, and Ruger 22lr pistol...all suppression enabled. And I'll take an FNP 12ga semiauto SG. And then I'll take a high capacity 9mm. My choice will be a Glock 19. I don't think for a second it's the greatest 9mm out there (love XD/XDM, BHP, CZ 75), but similar models and parts are everywhere...and that matters. And it's light, concealable, and high capacity.

Oh wait, that's six? And I still want a 1911? And a 4-6" 357mag revolver feels like a must, right? You get the point. Thank God we're not actually limited to five.

Glock 21 .45acp
Mossberg M590 12 gauge
PSA M4 5.56 with Aimpoint
Daewoo DR-200 5.56 with Elite 3000 scope
Ruger 10/22 with suppressor

Rationale:
Glock 21 is 45 but still high capacity and completely reliable
Mossberg 590 - 9 shot pump 12 gauge that is almost impossible to break or make misfire
PSA M4 with Aimpoint - thus far, it has been utterly reliable and the Aimpoint allows rapid target acquisition. Uses same mags and ammo as DR200.
Daewoo DR200 - civilian version of S. Korea's K2 military rifle. Design is basically an AR lower with an AK-type gas tube and piston assembly. Adjustable gas tube for various conditions, takes AR mags and has never failed to fire. I got slightly lucky with mine as it with 55gr 5.56 it will shoot MOA
Ruger 10/22 with suppressor - silent.

I believe in an SHTF situation the two biggest factors will be found ammunition compatibility and reliability/ease of repair/found parts compatibility. Sound suppression rates a very close third and those cans should be multi-caliber and user serviceable. Therefore, the most popular models and calibers are the most survivable. Finally, military compatibility must be taken into account.

So here goes:

.22LR: Ruger 10/22 Takedown
9mm: Beretta 92/Glock 17
.357 Magnum/.38 Special: S&W 686/Ruger SP101
.45 ACP: Colt 1911/Glock 21
.223: AR-15
.308: AR-10
12 ga.: Remington 870/Mossberg 590/500

All of these have interchangeability of parts, a huge number of weapons in circulation and compatibility with military weaponry. One other consideration is whether you have more Police in your area (urban, inner city; Glock preferable) or near a military base (Colt/Beretta preferable). Any combination of five of these weapons with at least one rifle, one pistol and one shotgun would make a great SHTF armory. Note: these are not my favorite weapons and were chosen strictly for the reasons listed above.

P.S. any high-quality firearm (i.e. Sig/Sauer, HK, FN, etc.) will serve well, but the owner should consider buying two of the EXACT same weapon and also invest in extra springs, clips and parts that wear out. Using one gun for extra parts and the loose parts and springs collection, one could keep a firearm running for quite a long time, as long as ammunition is available.
