Tokarev Questions

I've been drooling in my shotgun news again. I've been intrigued by the idea of getting a Tokarev sometime, but I'm wondering if the stock grip is comfortable? Are they fun to shoot? Would you buy one in the Russian Tokarev caliber or in 9mm? What are your overall impressions?

I had a Chinese copy back in the 1990s. Mine was a 9mm. It was not uncomfortable to shoot. Reasonably accurate, has a good fun to price ratio. The Russian Bottle neck round is pretty fun, (and if it matters to you , more appropriate to the gun) but for long term the 9mm may be more practical.

They are cheap pistols that are a blast to plink with. FYI the surplus ammo is corrosieve so clean after every range session.

Here's a 9MM option that you might want to consider. Ammo would be easier to get too.

I've got the yugo model in 7.62. Its excellent and it also penetrates soft body armor interestingly enough. Good buy, go for it
