Default Time for a new hand gun and need some advice

I need a bit of help on figuring out my options.
I am looking for a semi auto for concealed carry both IWB and OWB.
Right now I have a Glock 26, XD40 (which stays bedside) and Kahr p380 so would like to stay in the 9mm, 40 or 380 calibers.

A few features I would like are:
1. The smaller the gun the better due to my work dress code
2. no external thumb safety
3. 9mm, .40 or 380 caliber
4. Min of 7+1 capacity

I have no problem with polymer frames, stainless, blued...etc.
Double action only or first shot is not a problem.

This will be mixed into the carry rotation with my 380, which is my pocket carry gun, and my Glock 26 that carries IWB/OWB.
Thanks!

S&W Shield 40. You have the CC well covered in 380 and 9mm. I don't know why you would want another carry gun when you already have two pretty good options.

+2 for the shield. I have the shield 40 as well. It DOES have an external thumb safety, but I don't use it. Another option is the Kahr cw9/40. Both are good guns with not external safety.

Can never have enough for cc
Shield is one i do want to try, even though it has a safety.
Kahr is ok, but so far i have a pretty mid road opinion on them. Nothing bad, but nothing great either. Might have to try a few more.

You might want to consider the Taurus PT 740 slim. It does have a thumb safety and capacity is 6+1 but its size and specially it's width make it great for concealment. The PT 709, which is 9mm, is 7+1.

The sig p250 is a very nice gun. Its anywhere around $900. Its double action. You can buy a new frame so that the gun is either the compact or full size gun. I have one in 9mm and have put nearly 1000 rounds including reloads through it with absolutely no problems.
