Default Thompson contender

Just picked this up for 300.00 bucks. It's a older model thompson contender in 44 mag. Checked the serial number and it was manufactured in 1976. The guy said his dad purchased it new and to his knowledge its never been fired. The gun is in amazing condition.

I have one in 7-30 waters. Great gun. Mine has the Pachmar decelerator grip. Take it out and shoot it if you can find ammo. I load my own. I was just at the range a couple hours ago.

Thanks for the reply, yea I'm gonna shoot the heck out of it the first chance I get. I have been looking at some other barrels for it, been reading great things about the 7-30 waters! I hope I don't run into any of the fitment issues I have been reading about when I get more barrels.

I've got one in a .45-.410, absolutely love the gun. They're very unique. It was my Dad's and I've only fired a few rounds through it and I've never tried a .410 through it but probably will before too long.
