Of those 3, I would (and did) choose the Ruger LCP. So far it's been 100% reliable with anything I feed it-even with pocket lint in/on it.

Thanks all for the info. I ended up buying the TCP, it felt the best in my hand, and knowing that they have a tendency to jump because of their size I wanted the one I felt I had the most control over. Thanks again for the info.

I carry it in hip pocket, one in the pipe, and have to issues except above.
I won't ever use the cheap Russian ammo again since it didn't work well in 3 different 380's.

Nice feature about the Taurus is last shot hold open. Keltec and LCP do not have that feature. I own a Keltec pt3at and pf9 and have been completely reliable. I shoot ball ammo in it for better penetration. You can modify ball ammo with a dremel tool if you want expansion. Just saw an X in the tip, or drill a small SHALLOW hole in the tip..being careful not to get it hot!! now you have poor mans hollow point ammo! l

I do get a charge out of folks who condemn a weapon because it stovepipes. It does that because you are limp wristing it. I can make mine do it too just by doing precisely that. I do plan to get the taurus 738 soon for the fact that it has the last shot hold open. I do have problems racking the slide on my Keltecs. The spring is terribly stiff, and I am terribly old. Hands have arthritis. I also have a Beretta with a tip up barrel in .380. Rather large for a .380 but is easy to use. I think it is the model 84 or 86 fs. No longer in production, but beautiful piece. Sell now for about $1000.00 NIB if you can find one.
