Default Taurus pt24/7 pro vs. Taurus pt .38s(super) pistols

I was wondering which gun I should get. Between the pt24/7 pro and the pt .38s(super)? I heard the .38 is hard to find ammo for and the pt24/7 clip jams alot. Which one should I get?

Welcome to the FTF forum! We have an "Introductions" area. Please stop in there.

.38 Super can be shipped to your home (if in the US). Check out AmmoEngine: .45-70 Government, Instock For Sale Premium & Discount Ammunition, Ammo Deals for internet pricing.

I have a Taurus 1911 in .38Super. I am not impressed with the trigger, but look through here and you will find that the poly Taurus' are not too well favored either.

Why not stop by the introductions section?

I don't care for the polymer taurus pistols at all,but I'll play.

I would choose the one I could feed the easiest. Where will you buy your ammunition? What caliber? What are you going to use it for, home defense, carry, range only???

When u say feed you mean load? Mostly for home use. The .38s is stainless steel. I will buy my ammo at a local gun store. The pt24/7 pro is a .45 cal and the pt.38s is a .38

You CAN get the 24/7 in 9mm, .40 S&W, or .45acp. The cheapest would be 9mm (to feed it....ya know....guns eat ammmo....).

Are you talking about a PT1911 in 38 super?

38 super is mostly a special order round, here anyways.

No its not a 1911. Is a .38 cal hard to find ammo for? Is a stainless steel gun better in any means? Its between a .45 cal and a .38
