It sounds like you got 1 of the old "hot shot" barrels. You can have it rechambered for 2 1/2" .410 or trade barrels. I'd recommend trading barrels with somebody and paying some boot-it'll still be cheaper than buying another barrel.

Look to finding a new barrel, if your not using the .223 barrel I expect you can find a trade for it. If you want to keep that and get a 410 barrel, I expect you can find one with full choke for about $110.
