Can you guys/girls help us prove him wrong. (with proof).
Are they both holstered at the waist? What is the distance between the 2?

I definitely think I could unholster my firearm faster than an average guy could unholster a katana first of all. 2nd of all, I could pull the trigger faster than an average guy could raise and lower his katana.

It seems to me that the movements to draw and fire a gun are smaller than the movements it would take to draw and "swipe" a katana.

This should settle the question.

I suppose if person 2 is a full time Japanese martial artist that lives by the bushido code and has a real katana and person 1 gets only one or 2 shots off into person 2,and they are only a few feet apart, then person 2 might easily kill person 1.But you never said skill levels or katana type,so I will assume that anyone walking around a parking lot with a katana has some possible mental health issues and it's probably a $20 stainless steel katana that will piss off person 1 who will probably kill you in 2 secs flat, person 2 would have a better chance unarmed cause person 1 might not pull his gun-you got a katana and person 1 has justified reason to SHOOT YOU IN THE FACE.

Ok....let's add a twist...What if they were up close? Say, like in a Phone booth?

Glock might go out of battery and not fire that close if it's touching the sword guy,and the sword is worthless that close and cramped. Now if Mr ninja pulls out a tanto knife and gun guy pulls out a snubbie .357 than we got a good match going on which I would pay to watch

He has you with surprise, you react slowly and your arm falls to the ground with one fell swoop.
You must be prepared for any situation that may occur.
If the sword-wielder rolls a 17 for offensive power, and already has 92 for defensive Wraith (standard) power, and has the Orb of Blithsmarm, he's still getting a Mozambique before his gizzard gets shot out.

Depends.Would this be a mexican standoff from 20 feet away? Can the katana dude throw his katana, accurately? Will the Glock malfunction? How good is his aim? Can he draw fast? What are 'street clothes'? Personally,im going with the Glock. And if i die? Make an announcement at my funeral not to F with mall ninjas.

In a phone booth I win. No matter what I have. I just let go of a nice juicy fart and he passes out and I curb stomp him to death.

NINJA PLEASE. Real ninjas don't throw their sword they throw stars good grief your not a very good troll...

I hate glocks but they are one reliable SOB for a pistol.

It takes less time to draw a pistol with a 4" barrel than it will for someone to draw a sword that is arm length.

You need to go to thr.org and work on your troll skills.
