Cut off point?? As much as you can afford? Store? Shoot in a lifetime? I don't think I'll ever reach a 'cut off' where I say to myself..."That's enough..."

What do I hold? Enough for the next range trip without having to go to the store...that's all I know about that...

How long is it good for? Store it in a cool, dry place and it'll last a lifetime...I inherited an old Remington 16ga from my Grandma. She kept her ammo in the original boxes, in the basement, in the sump pump room...very damp and humid down there...for nearly 50 years from the last time she hunted, and it all shot just fine...Not saying to do that but you don't need to overthink storing ammo... Just keep it dry...

Back before the war....

I had a couple of friends that worked somewhere that produces ammo, I have several cases of popular calibers, because of the shortage I learned a few cases isn't enough to keep shooting.

If we ever do get to a SHTF situation I have no intention of going anywhere. I plan to hunker down right here and make my stand.

I'm going to run to my redneck brother-in-laws house.

If SHTF I think rural will be the place to be for awhile.

We have been using Chock Full o' Nuts for years. We like the 100% Colombian blend. Plus we like coffee that is strong enough to taste like real coffee.

I just can't see leaving my place that I know like the back of my hand and the people I have lived around for years. Plus I'll have plenty of friends show up to help keep a look out. I know you can't stock pile everything but you don't have to but kinda like the old joke about "I don't have to out run the bear. I just have to out run you." I don't have to stock pile everything. I just have to stock pile what I need to take what I need.
