Default The Standard Catalog of S&W???

Does anybody here have "The Standard Catalog of Smith&Wesson" book?
I'm trying to find the date of manufacturer of my 15-4 that I just picked up. There is nothing to be found on the web, as far as I can tell.

1980. That year the K frames ran from 57K0001 to 91K6800.

Question guys, are the 15's +P rated? I know some of the older S&W's are, but I'm not sure about this one.

I do not consider a 1980 handgun to be old (I have boots that old) but when in doubt, ask them what made it.

The Mdl 15 can handle +P, but I would not want to do it all the time.
IMO, if I need to used a higher pressure cartridge, I would buy a .357 Magnum chambered revolver.
