Which one fits your hand better? Which do you like?

For concealment, the sr9c is much slimmer.

Since you asked, I say SR9c.

"Better" for what purpose(s)? I.E...do you want to carry concealed; size an issue; weight, price...I guess what we might ask you is to give us some better definition of what you are asking?

Both are good guns!

"Better" is quite subjective. Both are good pistols, but of the two, I prefer the SR9c.

My Dad just went through this same debate with himself, ended up going with the SR9C, he liked the thinner grip, cheaper price, and included pinkie extension. I myself went with the SA XDM9C for the high capacity, styling, thicker grip, and grip safety.

I have a SR9c and my father in law used to have a XD sub-compact. I liked the way the grip felt on the XD, but didn't care for the blocky design and the high axis on a gun that small. I've been extremely pleased with my SR9c and it's really nice to carry.

If carrying concealed, I'd go with the Ruger. If not carrying concealed, I'd go with the Springfield.

I bought my wife an SR9c because it fit her better. I bought myself one after I shot hers. If you are in a non restricted state, it comes with a 10 round compact mag and a 17 round mag with grip filler. The restricted states get 2 ten round compact mags. The 10 round mags come with a flat butt plate and a hooked butt plate. Ours have functioned flawlessly.

Just recently got my SR9c and love it. I like the feel of the grip better than the XD. I have full size XDm .40 and like it but still not crazy about the grip. The SR9 just feels better to me. If possible handle both together to see for yourself.
As far as quality you can't go wrong with either one.
