I actually decided to take the jump into 10mm and put a Glock 20 on layaway.

Good thing is if you don't like 10mm or don't always want to shoot 10mm they make a 40 conversion barrel. That is if you you don't have a glock 22

Nope. This will be my first Glock. I figured they'd have something like that for it. I won't have any issues with 10mm. I recently took my M29 out and shot it for the first time and I loved it. So 10mm will be no problem for me. I mostly getting it for fun plinking once in a while. But more so for when I go out fishing or hiking in bear country.

Jeff,..what do you want the Gun for? We have Both. (My Wife) has the SP 101 in 2.5" 357, and we have the 930's "Little Brother",..The SA-20. If anyone aside from you may use the Shotgun for HD/SD,...think about the SA-20. We've had ours a Year plus with no Issues. The Gas system is adjustable, as are the Stocks(we have 2). We added the +2 Mag. Ext. and a Vickers Sling. Just waiting to Get the Optic Installed, The Next Time we Have "Range Money" They will do it for us while we shoot our other stuff....

Home Defense/ carry gun is what i want another gun for. I was thinking the .357 cause i can load it with .38 making my wife able to shoot it and i can carry it with .357. The shotgun to me is a good choice for home defense loaded with 20 gauge birdshot mostly because i live in an apartment and over penetration is a big concern with our thin walls here.

Don't remember if i participated in this thread yet !
I am a first time gun owner at age 63. (SR40C). Depending on finances (I am retired and what i have is it). I am more concerned about the daily exercise of personal protection rather then the bigger picture of SHTF. So unless I hit a Lotto a decent AR is not in my plans. A second handgunm would be. My short list is: FN-USA/FNX-40, Beretta/PX4Storm Compact (.40S&W),CZ-USA/P-07 (.40S&W) and Walther PPQ-M2 (.40S&W). Owning as 9mm is not out of the question, but I started with .40S&W so as long as my aging process can handle it, I will stay with it.

If you get a 226 in .357 or .40 you can always buy conversion barrels for either and 9.
