I believe the correct name is .380ACP since Browning(while working for Colt) developed the cartridge for the 1903. The correct name for 9x19 is 9mm Parabellum since the Germans developed it in the early 1900's. All other names are given by their respective users, so technically not correct. I could be wrong though, I'm going entirely from memory and haven't researched the subject in quite some time.

Actually the "proper" name for the .380 ACP is 9mm Browning Corto... And .25 ACP is really 6.35 Browning.. They're both Browning rounds...

Interesting. I just looked it up. 1903 was .32ACP, 1908 was .380ACP. Glad I wasn't betting on my info!

I have never been a fan of da/sa decockers, but after handling a CZ, I am seriously wanting the new CZ P01 ProTek 2 for carry.

That trigger set is just so sweet.

Couldn't find the "drool" icon.

If you prefer Mossbergs, as do I, you should look at the 590 series. It's the 500 series that have been beefed up.

If you plan on running a pistol grip, the controls on the Remington 870 are better IMO. Without a pistol grip, the Mossberg's controls are superior, again my opinion.

For pistol grips if your gonna leave one chambered I'd go with an 870 but personally I prefer mossberg over remy so I wouldn't have a problem leaving it unchambered, safety off

I have a Smith 586-4 4" barrel on layaway at the gun shop I work at. Came in used at about 98-99% and they only wanted 400 for it. Ill post pictures when I get it out hopefully this Friday. After that I have a Remington 870 tactical in my sights... God I love that 586!
