i knew he got the Walther PPK after the Beretta, just not sure about which caliber. i think it was the 32.

I always thought he used a .380. Of course, I never read the books. According to Wiki, in the book he used a .25 at first, and then a .32, just as you guys said. However, the prop gun in the movie was a .380, it seems.

IIRC, the only difference in the two is the barrel. and on the screen, it would very hard to tell the difference in a 380 barrel and a 32 barrel.

many, many years ago, my father had a matching pair of PPK's, one in 380 and the other in 32 auto. they were the first centerfire pistols i ever shot. i thought i was the coolest, shooting the same pistol that James Bond carried! my father, my brother and i were all Bond fans!

I the older movies it was a 32 But in sky fall Q gives him a "9mm Kurz" which is a European designation for the 380.
