They're just a damn good gun, that's all.

Not the best, not the prettiest, not the cheapest. But very well rounded, capable of handling hotter than normal loads on a regular basis. Very tough, and forgiving of hard abuse.

I've got one of the Rugers and a S&W 640 .357 mag. Trust me. If you shoot one of these you want the best hearing protection money can buy and make sure anyone near you has the same. They are loud and I mean really loud.

I have always wanted a model 1896 broomhandle mauser. As soon as I get the change saved up thats what I'm going looking for next.

Apparently a .45 acp., since I just bought ammo & don't own a .45 yet.

I'm leaning toward an SR45 or an SR1911, depends on how patient I can be saving up for one.

............wait, wait.......does this belong on the "You know you're a gun nut if..." thread?

Id love to have a M&P shield 9MM for a ccw weapon. They are awesome. They feel good in the hand and are compact, very concealable. I have an M&P 40 and the Shield is just so much smaller - its slick!

However, Ive always wanted a Colt Python .357.

I forgot to mention my all time dream is a Winchester Model 101 Skeet Model with a Vent rib 12 ga.

Why not buy the shield chambered in .40S&W. It is the exact same size in every way but with the superior ballistics.

Default 1911 colt ss combat commander xse

I finally pulled the trigger on that next firearm purchase, after a lot of research and deciding? The right pistol came along at the right time and price.

I purchased a NIB Colt 1911 SS Combat Commander xse 45acp pistol. I'm pretty excited!! It's my very first Colt 1911,I should get it in about a week?

I'm afraid this might be the beginning of a horrible Colt 1911 addiction.

I pulled the trigger on a Ruger Blackhawk .357 stainless steel with a 4.6" barrel and hardwood grips.

I will be picking it up tomorrow.
