This year and next year are looking up in the gun buying department!!.

I have 3 purchases coming up besides upgrading my CCW,the next three firearms will be the Colt Commander LW xse ss or the Colt Commander Wiley Clapp by Talon, one of these will probably be my next purchase.

Next will be the S&W 460 revolver in 8 3/8 inch barrel or the 10.5 in performance center 460 before whitetail season.

And lastly I want another NIB Remington 700 chambered in 260 rem,I would also settle for a 280 rem or a 7mm-08 rem for whitetail and other thin skinned game with this rifle.

I am deciding between a compact or sub-compact .40 S&W for EDC or a beautiful Ruger SP 101 with a 3" barrel that i know won't last long at my LGS. So far for the .40 i've been looking at the Ruger SR 40c, the M&P 40c, and the Kahr PM40.

Definitely snag up that SP101 if the price is right. Polymer guns are a dime a dozen. The right revolver at a good deal is rarer. You're right, it won't last long.

My Wife's 101 is the 2.25" Stainless w/The Houge Tamer...she's never out of the center of black inside of 10 Yds.! Someone on here early today was "griping" about the Timing on the LCR(which she also has) .38+P....
All I can say is between all the Ruger revolvers I have ever seen or shot not one person ever said they felt the gun's timing was "off" or "poor."

I don't have any, myself. Just a S&W 66-2 in a 2.5" (which I love shooting, BTW). But I do like everything I've heard about the Ruger wheel guns, and I can definitely see myself owning some, someday. So your wife has the LCR in 38? Have you shot many S&W wheel guns? If so, how does the trigger compare to the LCR? Just the other day I was thinking about picking one up someday, but probably in 357.

Most of my revolver exp. comes from the past, but we still have enough between what I got handed down to me and the two the Wife has bought since we moved here. (1Dan Wesson .41mag, 1 6" Colt Python, 1 Colt King Cobra 3", 1 Colt Cobra 2", 1 Det. Sp. 2", one Ruger Security Six w/5" Bull barrel, and the SP 101 & LCR) to be able to say that the LCR's trigger is good for what the gun is intended for: close range shooting.
I never get why folks would try and hit a 10 on the target from 25 yards away with a snub nose gun!?!?!

A nice wheel gun collection. That's basically what I expected of the LCR trigger.
