I base my purchases mainly on what I like or find interesting, but occasionally I am swayed by whatever POTUS or the legislature is trying to ban. Some states, including California have either banned this or want to, so I'm seriously considering it.

A Barrett M107A. Any thoughts?

I saw an M82 today,..the 107's predecessor...anything that can drop a .50 BMG round 5,000 plus feet downrange is Solid in my book!!!!

I'm going to have to pay a farmer with a mountain as a backdrop to get any chance to fire it! I imagine most shooting ranges don't like these things. I wonder if a suppressor would help? Don't imagine we can get it down to "silent but deadly?"

My range has The Bolt Action Barrett .50, cost $5 bucks a round to shoot plus $10...
We finally went outdoors without an actual "Range with targets" today. The side of a Mountain about a mile from my House. We were hoping to Buy .22's so we put her Buckmark & my Mossberg Semi-Auto in the Truck with some bouncing targets & one swinging one...All we had with us was 50 rds....Gonna have to order them online after the next range trip...

We got 2 .32ACP's today,..and ordered My new 12 Ga..Semi-Auto and her Rossi .410/45LC carbine...so overall it was a good score day...couldn't find any .32ACP hollow points either...
.32 ACP HP are available online at http://www.surplusammo.com/32-auto-65-grain-hydra-shok-jhp-federal-premium-20-rounds/ , for a pretty penny. I've been doing some ammo research in case I make the move on a Walther PP 7.65 mm .

I want , I need, a lever action in .45 Colt.

Now that Ruger has announced a 10/22 with laser.
That is what I need.

I either want to get a S&W shield 9mm or a cobra 380. I know the cobra is crap, but I want something cheap as a backup/nightstand/truck gun. I have a 38 I carry, just want something else. I'm a S&W man and I love the look of the shield, just not wanting to drop $500 right now.
