Yes, you are right. And just because whatever I buy is "next" it certainly doesn't mean it's the last.

Glad we could help you. That's what we are here for.

I know this is in the handgun forum but....

a few pages back I posted that I wasn't looking for anything, just looking for ammo for what I have.....well poop....for the last 8 or 10 months I've been keepin an eye out for a good deal on a Mossberg 464 in 30-30 (the regular one, not the tacticool zombie edition). I found one online the other day used, opening bid was $220 (they sell for at least $400 new around here) nobody bid on it & like 8 hours left in the auction. I thought, "man that would be great to get that gun for that cheap" so I bid. 8 hours later & i'm the only bidder & owner of a 30-30.

hopefully it shows up this weekend & I can put some rounds downrange with it

thanks, I am pumped but at the same time i spent $390 on a new TV (46" RCA on closeout!) & $380 on an eye exam & glasses to replace my broken ones. not to mention my rent, car payment, & insurance. all of a sudden it turned into an expensive week. i better love that friggin rifle or it might hafta go quickly!

Get the R1. Unless your worried about the UN arms treaty then the glock is your best bet. If the treaty goes through foreign guns may go up in price. Capacity isn't a big deal. 9 rounds or 14 rounds? I carry my 1911 and feel like I can hit more accurately cause its amazing feel and accuracy. I do like my G21 after I loaded it with a nice recoil spring, trigger release and slide release but it is still very bulky. Test then both out. After holding a 1911 in my hand I fell in love. It is real 100+ year "perfection" not a sales pitch. Nothing wrong with the 21. It shoots nice and does the same as anything in .45 auto.
