Yeah. The P229 is a beast HK. I have a SAS E2 in .40 S&W that has been run hard and still going strong. Might give it a spring kit in a few months. It has been an awesome gun with no issues whatsoever. I've run a bunch if different factory ammo through it(no Tula lol) but I mostly shoot reloads in it. If you get one you won't regret it.

Just get the judge. I know it's a Taurus but its a revolver and shotgun at that. Pretty hard to screw up. Plus they have a 3" cylinder. Governor is only 2 3/4" i believe.

I was looking at a PPK as well....but availability wasn't there. I did find a S&W bodyguard .380 which I did get, and am glad I did. Smaller than the PPK and has a built in laser. It does have a heavy trigger pull though, but for a sometimes pocket carry gun I think that is a plus.

Now I am torn between the Springfield XDS and the Sig Sauer P938. The XDS is a .45 but it is polymer. The P938 is a 9mm but it is so pretty.

I have a deposit down on a P226 Elite stainless 9 mm with the rosewood grips.

Since Nov. LGS expected delivery in Feb. I call a lot to see if they still have my number.

I'm sure that I will. Although saw the performance 1911's on the outdoor Channel last week....like those also (even though the price would be nearly double)

Those are nice. I got mine from buds.com $870 stainless with crimson trace grips. That was two years ago. Such a great 1911. Seems like S&W 1911's are overlooked sometimes.

Just got my first about 6 months ago. Ruger GP100 4". Love it. Next is my first pistol. Going to stay with the Ruger. I'm letting my wife pick it to keep my momentum going! Ruger SR22.

After that, I'm drooling for a side by side coach gun. Anyone have a suggestion? Don't say Stoeger. Saw a video of a guy shooting one and it fell apart on him. Not into it.
