I'm might buy a Smith M&P Shield 9mm this coming weekend. However, our oldest daughter already has one, so I'm going to borrow and shoot hers before I make up my mind. If I do buy one, it will be my primary CCW piece.
I already made the mistake of not trying out a Glock 43 before I bought one a couple of months back. While my 2 month old Glock 43 is reliable, conceals easily for me, and is accurate enough (considering) the dang thing pinches my trigger finger every time it goes off.
If our daughter's Smith works better for me, I'll probably have one by Monday, and my Glock 43 will go to someone who doesn't have a fat trigger finger like mine.

Busy weekend at the gun show. I sold 9 seldom used guns and bought a 3" SP101 in 357 mag, a S&W 36-10, an XD9 sc and a little Keltec p32.

I'm going to replace my worn out Ruger Blackhawk in .30 carbine with a brand new Ruger Blackhawk in .30 carbine.

Possibly an FNX 45 tactical. Fondled one at a lgs Friday and surprisingly it felt great for a 15 round double stack .45 acp. When I get the cash for it who knows.

I have seen a FN509 with my eyes and hands at a LGS. I like it. Reasonably priced. If I can find a place that has and rents one, it may be next on my list.

i have been thinking hard of adding a pistol cartridge carbine into my collection, simply for the fun of wanting one to have and shoot and might even be used for home defense as well possibly.

the one i find most appealing and that i like, is the Just Right Carbine. leaning more towards the 9mm, or maybe possibly the 40S&W.

the one that i like is the Take-Down model of the JRC. able to use the Glock or M&P magazines. of course, if i were to buy one, there would also be the possibility of adding a pistol in the same caliber, that used the same magazines. this is why it appeal to me as a possible home defense system.

Dallas, I went through the same thought process. I ended up building an AR 9mm 7" pistol. Uses glock mags. I'll post a pic if I can find one...

Of course now I've got to build a glock to go with it. See the Deals, deals, deals thread to see what I bought..

That was one where i was thinking SBR. Didn't happen, built as a pistol with a KAK brace. Wouldn't be hard to build a 9mm to 16" carbine.

Those are 33rd Glock sticks and a 50rd Glock drum. Can you say "firepower".

Lower is 80% at this time, so no laws broken. Had to go back through old thread and find a pic as I've cleaned my phone out again.
