A 1911, either new or used but in good condition. I like the Sig's and Para's but would even settle for a Taurus PT 1911. Waiting for funds availability.

My wife just got her CC permit. Top of my list may have just changed to whatever she wants.

Good for her. I"m not sure what you or she are into, but I just bought a S&W Bodyguard .380. It's a great size, has the laser and is light for pocket, hip, ankle purse and even booby carry (The "Flash bang holster"
