It is my second of these, my absolute favorite blackpowder reproduction, in the collection. Reproduction isn't a great term actually -- it's not a copy of any particular model, just a custom made smoothbore made in a common style of 300 years ago. My first was ultimately fitted for an interchangeable matchlock mechanism (which this profile historically originated with), by the American gunmaker and will be left in that latter configuration once I receive this new one.

This is a fair representation of one...
That's an awesome looking gun. Congrats

I want either less corruption or more opportunity to participate in it.

Got the Mosin I was looking for for my son.

Guess I'm on to trying to figure out which .45 1911 Springfield, Colt, or STI to get. Too many model choices.

Two more payments on my sailboat, that comes first. I make less money in the summer, and toys must wait for bills.

When I see discretionary money again, I want a Glock 29 to keep in my artificial leg. I have a Rossi 44 special in there now, but I cringe knowing I have only five rounds should the SHTF. I can keep a Glock 20 in that secret spot, but the extra weight makes the leg want to fall off. Lol

I'm thinking about an M1 carbine, should have bought one a long time ago, but just kept putting it off, now they're $900

Cheap 1911? That is an oxymoron if I have every heard one..haha ..... Great platform though. I will own a S& W E series 1911 one day!
