Smith & Wesson Performance Center .44MAG 6" weighted barrel competitor
I am considering this revolver to hunt dear. I have found very little information regarding this revolver, scattered online. What do you know about this gun?

44 smith perfomance center
I have one and it's the 2nd bestshooting revolver I've ever owned, right behind the performance center 8 3/8 inch barrel. Buy either if you can! Doc

This is my 629-6 Classic. It has a 6.5" barrel and it's power ported. This one is a lot lighter than my Hunter Plus but it doesn't have quite the range. It's still good for a one shot knock-down at 60 yards though.

When I go hunting, I put a Bushnell HOLOsight on my PC 44 Magnum. This really increases my odds of making a one-shot-kill.

Way to brag, Mark F....................:D
I want your revolvers. I wish I had the disposable income to purchase something like that...lol. |
Jesus those are some awesome revolvers! My step-father has an old S&W .357 Magnum and that thing is a beast, I love to shoot it when I can peel it from his hands.

I just love my Smith & Wesson PC Revolvers. They have a feel to them that you can't get from any other gun. The action is so smooth and silky and there's no trigger creep at all. I have a 3.5 pound trigger pull set on these pistols and they are incredably awesome.

Bottom line... I wouldn't give up my 629 PC's for any autoloader regardless of make or model. Come to think of it, I wouldn't give up any gun!
