Default Sig sauer p250 9mm .40 or Taurus .357

Hey I'm new to the forum and can't decide what to get. I want something reliable and something I can really have fun at the range with I'm 6'3 so weight isn't a problem.

P.S. Do you guys think a girl 5'3 110 pounds can handle a .40 or a .357

I'd go with the Sig all day every day. The. 40 is a better round but the 9mm is much cheaper to shoot. And yes a 110lbs women can shoot either, my sister does.

I have a Taurus .357 (only because it was given to me) but i would go with Sig as well. Taurus had a bad rep for customer service. That doesn't mean thy have bad weapons, just bad service.

As far as a female handling a .40, my sister is 5'2 100lbs. She can shoot my brother in-laws Glock 23c .40 all day at the range.

And don't mind the P250 negative reviews, I believe all of the issues with that pistol have been resolved and for under 400 bucks for a Sig it's a great option.

If you dig the Sig you might also look at the fnp and fnx series from FN Herstal...
