sig p250

I've been interested in one of these for awhile. I was wondering what you guys thought of them. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks

I owned one back in 2010. The pistol felt great in my hands and I loved the size of it but I could not get that pistol to group. I'm talking 12-16" groups at 15 yards and never any better than 6" groups at 7 yards. I'm not an excellent pistol shooter but it was a struggle to keep groups in a pie plate. I didn't even mess with sending back to factory because that was the time I discovered my love for the 1911.

I haven't openly bashed the 250 because I could have had a rare incident but it was enough to keep me from purchasing again. I had the .40S&W.

That's interesting. Maybe you had the rare band one. Every other review I have read said that It was a tack driver at that range. Thanks for the input though I appreciate it

The sig 250 seems to be getting a bad reputation for unreliability. Something technical about the firing mechanism. Might i suggest that if your heart is set on buying a lower priced sig, that you have a look at the 2022 line

I guess my heart isn't set on it. I've just always heard good things about sig and the p250 was in my budget. I'm open to suggestions in that price range of you have any. Thanks

If u like sig might i suggest the 2022 line. It is a good quality firearm in a similar price range Also in that price range is the czp07 which is an excellent weapon. Good luck in your decision

Thanks for the help. A while ago I was interested in the cz p07. Do you have one? Or can you give me the rundown of whatbyou think of it?

Disclaimer: I've never owned a P250, and it's hard to give an expert firearm evaluation without running the volume of rounds that tend to accompany actual ownership.

I've shot a couple and didn't like them. They worked fine enough in the 'goes bang everytime' and 'accurate enough' sort of way. It's not as if this is some failure-prone dumpster fire of a gun. It works. I just came away with the impression that the overall ergonomics and trigger on this gun weren't very good fits for me. So maybe just a matter of personal preference.

There are a lot of people who love their P250s. I figure, more power to 'em. I came away feeling like Sig 'cheaped out' trying to expand their market appeal. I like Sig's alloy pistols, but even they don't quite fit me right either.

So I guess I'm saying the P250 can be fine, but isn't a good fit for me.

Do you carry it with the decocker or with the safety?
