Guys,

I just wanted to pass on this bit of cruel info to you.

A few gun shops here in germany offer a kit, to put the new E2 (ergonomical grips) from the P226 E2 on any P226 Classic.

In order to be able to mount this kit onto a classic P226, the shorter hammer spring, that fits in the polymer thing at the end of the hammer strut. P226ers, that have the shorter spring already, can use it.

As far as I have heard, this kit is not available in the US yet.

I ordered the kit for me and will post some pics when I put the grips on.
