Default P229 e2

I have personally owned 9 Sigs. I just shot my 229 E2 today in 9mm. This gun is absolutely fantastic and worth every penny. The only problem I have with this gun is that is so new its hard to find a good holster for it, and no, it is not the same as a old model 229. Of all my Sigs, I bought a 250 in sub compact about 6 months ago (or compact whatever) that thing was a turd and I sent it back 2 times to Sig to have trigger/hammer issues fixed. I think Sig is wanting to keep up with other gun companies and they forget that its Sig Sauer that sets the industry standard. Forget the convertible guns,if you want 2 calibers buy 2 guns. As a NRA instructor and IDPA shooter and the father of a police officer, I would trust that gun to shoot competition and to protect my own son. I love my Kimbers but I would take my P220 into combat. Drop the dough, if you dont like it, ill buy it from you!!

Default Sig 229

The holster I use for my 229 is a Galco Paddle and can be found on thier web site. This holster will also fit my Beretta Storm. dogwalk

I own a P229 and I haven't fired an E2, but I had one in my hands yesterday for the first time. It definetly offers a better grip being slightly smaller. If I could get a deal I'd probably would have to be a really good deal tho. I don't think they look as nice as the classic P226,P228 and P229, but that's a minor consideration.
