Default Should i get a plinker?

I was thinking of getting a ruger mark iii for Christmas, should I get one although I wouldn't be able to shoot it much?

i have the Mk III 22/45 Target model. excellent pistol! well made and very accurate. get one, as you probably won't be disappointed with it. you will find time to shoot it. one suggestion i will make if you buy one, get plenty of mags for it!

Short answer. Yes they are great pistols.

Love plinkers, great for cheap range and camping fun. That is an excellent one to choose, arguably the best.

try your LGS or MidwayUSA.com get the factory Ruger mags.

Get a Mk II. Trigger break is much cleaner.

I could make a list of a bunch of guns i have, or "have", or wish I had. Why would one feel compelled to provide that infornation freely? Do you feel the need to show off? Is it some immature game of oneupsmanship?

Why do you feel it necessary to list your guns?
