A few years back, I landed a job with Leupold. During the final inspection and packaging after assembly, if minor scratches or blemishes were found in the anodized tube or parts, out came the magic sharpie.Fortunately that wasn't necessary very often. If you should purchase a Leuopold, or any brand scope for that matter, give it a close look. If you find a sharpie fix, you may be able to talk the dealer into knocking off a few bucks, or at the least, exchange it for one without blemishes.
