I shoot steel case ammo when breaking in a new gun. After the break in phase I prefer American made ammo. Right now ammo is hard to get but with experience you can still get ammo right now. I just bought a case of American Eagle 147 gr FMJ ammo for $240. It took a couple months of inquiries to find the American Eagle ammo. You have to be active and joining an ammo buying group really helps a lot. Remember when participating in these buying groups cash talks. You can't use a credit card or be a pain is rear by writing checks. Just get a receipt for your cash so if the deal falls through there is no doubt about how much you have in the pool.
