Default Ruger 22/45 sight problem

The pin in my sight keeps rattling out about an 1/8 of an inch every ten shots. Any ideas how to fix this. It's just a simple pin with no way to hold it in place.

if its a roll pin you need a new one. if not tap the pin in and apply a very teeny tiny eensy bit of blue loctite to the end of the pin when it is flush in place and let it sit overnite. shouldnt shoot loose but it should hold till you need to tap it out.

more permanent you can peen it in but that will mark up the sight a bit and be a lot harder to remove

I did the loctite fix on my GP100 and it's worked fine. Don't try to peen it over as it may need to be removed if you ever need to remove the sight for some reason.
