Oops, I think I stumbled on it by mistake and resurrected it. My bad.

Depends on the size of your hands and if you prefer revolver or semi-auto.

Small, light weight revolver - Ruger LCR

Small, relatively light weight Semi - Kimber Ultra Carry. You can get that in 9mm or .45ACP
Small, solid semi - Kahr K-9 or K-40

Larger SA/DA - Sig P220 Compact

Full Size 1911 - Kimber, any flavor that turns your crank
Full Size SA/DA - Sig P220 (with or without rail)

These are all "set it up and forget it" guns (does require a cleaning once or twice per year to keep lint/dust to a minimum). One key word - reliable!

Can't someone put a bullet in the brain of this zombie thread? Seems like it refuses to die and a double tap is in order....

Get her dirty, then clean her so she starts to respect you. When her trust is complete, she will serve you well for a lifetime!
