The Ruger LCP in .380 acp is one of the most popular concealed carry weapons, for many good reasons.

I've heard the Ruger is really good. I want a narrow skinny gun. Please give me some good suggestions. Thanks. I plan to buy this week. Something I can find ammo to as well. No .22. Prefer a 9mm or a .38
My wife carries a Sig P238 (380) and loves it. Throws it in her purse and she's good to go. She tried the Ruger LC9 but couldnt get past the long trigger pull.

Or I've also heard if many people carry glocks if it comes down to a life or death situation even tho they own plenty of different guns

I'd vote for the smith .38 snub nose or the sig .380

There both very easy to carry and shoot well. How accustomed to handguns are you? A little revolver is easy to maintain and will never fail you if you really need it.

Everybody has had some good suggestions, I'd throw the Taurus 709 in the mix as well.

From experience I can give a thumbs up on the Beretta Nano and the S&W Shield. I have had and I have sold a Ruger LC9. The Beretta is my every day carry. It will all come down to what you are comfortable shooting. Try to find a range where you can rent them to shoot before you purchase. That way you can know what to expect.

Good luck and let us know what you decide on.

Everyone should be aware of the long trigger pull on some of these guns. My girl friend bought an S&W bodyguard on feel and looks alone. After she shot it she doesn't like it because of the trigger pull. She laid it on the night stand and that is where it sits. She is about to take her ccw class and will probably be using my 1911 because she likes shooting it. She may be of the opposite sex but she knows a good hand gun when she pulls the trigger. Sure I will get flamed for that one. She knows why its that way but so far she hasn't gotten passed it and not everyone can.

I carry a kel-tec 380 when I run and carry a Kimber 45 in my purse all the time.
