So, I went to the range with my brother and 2 cousins on Sunday, and here is the result.
700 Remington Rifle: I fired about 10 shots of 270 win. at a metal target 200 yards away. This weapon was pretty accurate, and the recoil was stiff but not terrible(under my shotgun by far). I have never cared much for rifles, but this one was pretty fun to shoot.
Remington .22: I'm not sure about the model of this pistol, but like all .22's Ive ever fired, it was fun and cheap. I hit the small metal target at 25 yards about 90% of the time. The gun felt very natural and of course had limited recoil. It didnt seem to like the federal rounds very much, causing at least 1 jam every clip. However, my cousin have never really cleaned the gun much, so that could be the problem.
Delta Elite: One of my favorite guns....however, 10mm bullets are not very cheap. We fired off 100 reloads and 100 Remington rounds. 3 Jams occurred the entire day, all of which were the factory ammo. The ammo also seemed to make the gun particularly dirty. I've always loved 1911s, but I seem to have lost my touch with this particular one(I used to be a good shot with it when I was younger). Sunday, I could only hit the metal target about 3 times per clip. By the end of the day I was rather frustrated. The particular night sights put on this gun do not suit me well, because you have to aim higher then the old sights from the WW2 1911s(my favorite style sights).
