Thanks DodgeThis,

I tried what you recommended and what an eye opener, my 45 ACP plated went through 4 Phone books no problem at all no distortion in the bullet at all. The Hornady XTPs hit the books penetrated and flipped them like no tomorrow. The energy that the XTPs put on the target was phenomenal. This puts a different spin on things for me. I am enjoying the fact that loading my own and customizing the round to perform how I want it too...
