question

I just got my permit, and im looking at a in the pants holster. Its a pagerpal, is this a good holster?. What is the durability of this holster?

From the things I am seeing on other forums and that it is a joke of a holster. There was a rather lengthy thread on it over at THR. The OP there had one for 15 minutes before it broke. Me I would stick to good quality leather from a well known manufacture. It sounds like from a few things I found they do not honor the warrenty unless you buy direct from them.

There are much better holsters out their from what I have seen and read about it.

WELCOME tj107us, glad to have you here.

Save your money and buy a Galco!

Go here and follow the promps to find the holster for your gun.

Galco holsters; Holsters; Gun holster, pistol holsters, western holsters, shoulder holsters, leather holster and Glock holsters

Once you find the one you like google it to find the best deal.

I have a Galco stow-n-go I got for ~$25 and a Royal Guard ~$75 both are good quality, do the job and are not some 'trick' holster that can get you killed!

From my own experience, I've tried Inside the Waistband, Paddle holsters, and what-not. From my standpoint, when the chips are down and you're looking the bull in the eye, I'll go with a conventional open-top belt holster from Don Hume.

Galco or Don Hume are far better choices, I own both and like the way the fit and the quality.

+1

The JIT Slide is my choice from Don Hume.

The Avenger Belt slide and the Scout are my choice from Galco. If I could ever wear my Scout out I might try the NSAII IWB holster, looks pretty cool.

If you like the idea of the pager pal, check out the USA holster from Galco. It is a deep cover IWB and you tuck your shirt in over the gun...neat design.

Good Luck

If you are looking for a good inside waist hoster look at the Dual Carry by DM Bullard. I carry My XDm40 and XD40sc in one and it is very comfortable, conceals real well, easy draw and reholster. Plus the fact that you can wear it Inside or out side just by changing the clips around is a plus 2 holsters for the price of one.
