PX4 Storm
I currently have a 9mm PX4 Storm full size. I need to upgrade to a 40cal for work purposes and was thinking of getting another full size PX4 Storm. Yet I also need a conceal weapon, I am 6'1" 150lbs and know without the right holster I am going to print with a full size.
What would you do in my situation? I love the platform of the PX4 and wish i had gotten the compact 9mm and full size 40cal. Even with the compact i think i would print. I feel of i trade in my PX4 9mm i am going to take a huge hit even though it's only 2-3 months old. Should I purchase the PX4 40cal full size and grab another platform for my conceal? Leaving me with 3 guns total? What would you recommend for a conceal? I like a manual safety with a hammer, I don't trust striker pistols (most likely because i grew up with shotguns). I'd like to be able to carry IWB at 2, 4, or 6 o'clock. With the width of the PX4 I don't see myself ever doing this without printing unless I start wearing baggier shirts or get the right platform.
Ideas? suggestions?

if mag size/capacity doesn't bother you, and you can find one, try the M&P Shield.

my younger brother works for a sportin goods store in the South, and they have had 15 on back-order for like 4 months now. said they were around $400.00......which is GREAT PRICE!

So your suggestion is to go the 3 gun route? I looked at the shield as a concealed option.
I need a full size as my weapon for work. The shield can serve as my backup for work but not my main. Or should i try to trade my PX4 9mm for it? Then get the 40cal PX4?

Not at all. Went from the PX4 to an officer 1911. Smaller, thinner, but just as heavy if not more. Ditched the officer and went for a while with a Polish P64. Carried that for several years until the wife took it over. Now I carry a Ruger SR9c, a Sig P238, and a S&W 66.

I decided to go with a Ruger LC9 local shop has a sale on Ruger this month and picked it up for $319. Didn't go with any dot sights just because it's my concealed and only meant for life or death situations. Won't need it when the time may come to fully utilize it.

I bought an LC9 last year and really like it for summer concealed carry. My fall/winter carry gun of choice is a Glock 23.
The LC9 has a fairly long trigger pull so you'll want to spend a considerable amount of time shooting it at the range practicing rapid fire self-defense shooting.
It's very reliable!!
