Default Purchase price for S&W M&P 9c

Looking to buy an M&P 9c. So many different prices out there. What is a good price for one in the Northern Texas (DFW) area? Also, not interested in online purchase due to the fact of paying for transfer. Any advice?

I've seen them for about 460 on average. It depends on which options you get as well. Since you are looking local, I would recommend finding a few with the same options and get the average price. If it is lower then your LGS, see if they will match the price.

What options do I have? I know you can get different safeties such as mag safety of thumb. And I am going with stock sights for now.

I have a full size and compact M&P 9. There are multiple options available, such as:

- mag lock
- thumb safety
- tritium night sights
- trigger weight (due to a couple of state restrictions)
- mag capacity (again, state restrictions)
- internal lock
- Crimson Trace grip laser

Those are the major options I can think of off the top of my head. There are others and I even have a pretty complete list including part numbers if ur interested. I'm away from my home computer right now but could post them tomorrow.

For what it's worth I will say that I thoroughly enjoy shooting my compact. After adding some Apex part both the wife and I shoot it better then the full size. Which simply means I get to buy more Apex parts for its big brother! lol

The Bullet Trap in Plano recently had them on an overstock sale. They may still be on for the sale price. I believe it was under $450, IIRC. Good place with great people; I highly recommend them as I have been a member there for many years now.

Do you have to be a member to purchase?

Try www.slickguns.com as they have great deals from different gun stores.
