pt 709 slim
I've got one, and use it for a carry pistol. With the right holster, it's perfect. Never had a problem with it; never failed to feed; never failed to eject.
Accurate enough for self defense. Light enough so it doesn't drag my belt down; and has little kick while firing. I'd suggest that you try one before you buy. You might not think the same way I do. |
Thanks for you'd input. Will do..

yep PT709 Slim with a Fobus hard holster, I generally like it got it with two 7 round mags, double or single action, safety on the trigger, has a little bar that indicates when theirs a round in the chamber, really simple to break down and clean, it doesn't shoot bad at all. The screw on the right side of the slide if you turn it I believe clock wise it locks the hammer so it can't be fired, with Fobus holster I have I've carried it all day didn't feel it.

concealed carry
I was using a "clipdraw" to carry inside my waistband in the small of my back, but i had a major problem with my shoulder so now i carry in a high-rise holster - strong side under my shirt - which is always outside my pants.....
we can do that here in texas if we don't have to go into the office.... it's a don hume H721 OT No. 53-709 - it's very confortable, and has a tang that protects your side from the end of the slide, so you don't get scratched up by the pistol. |
Thanks I will check into it
