Default Pricing - Colt Peacemaker 45 1895

Does anyone have a general idea on how much a good condition 45 Peacemaker from roughly 1895 would cost?

Friend has one for sale and is looking for a general price he might be able to sell for.

Looked around and couldn't find anything for sale as an example.

I don't know about the price for the gun itself but a friend of mine was selling a older rifle and the dealer was interested to know if there was any provable history for the gun. i.e used in battle or shoot out of some sort.

I can answer if you can answer my question- My neighbor has a car he wants to sell. It is a Chevrolet. It has 4 wheels.

WAY too many variables to answer your question, or mine. Prices on these are measured in thousands of $$$, and will be driven by EXACT model, EXACT condition, etc. Will need a HANDS ON appraisal by someone that knows old Colts- and the difference between the models.

Call Dury's gun shop, fax them a couple of pics, They'll come look at it if they think it's worth it.
