Ooooo!! Nice stuff!! .45ACP, 230 grain JHP hand loads for me, although at times I carry the 9mm; the .45 Colt Government is my preferred carry gun.

........I understand that several gov't. agencies are going to the 357 Sig
round for issue purposes. Seems like it would be a very effective round
because of many favorable write ups advocating its numerous advantages.
.....Its supposed to be a 9mm on super steroids with a propensity to feed rather easily as opposed to many rounds.
.....The only objection listed on the internet seems to be the lack of a weapon capable of handling its increased power as most 357's are built
on 40 cal. frames.
.....If the weapons now chambered for 357 Sig are holding up---I may
vote for the Sig as #1 for concealed carry.
Don't you know that I just bought a 9mm !

If they were built on CZ75 frames they wouldn't have any issues. I shoot .40cal +P+ ammo very often in my CZ and never had a single problem.

What do I use? Federal Hydrashock in 9mm through a Sig P228

What would I prefer to have? Fereral Hydrashock in .45acp through a nice 1911
