They're also great as a spare boat anchor!:p

I bet you can pistol whip someone with one just as well as you could a 2K dollar custom pistol.

I bet you could blow the guts out of somebody with one more often than not. I don't own a Hi-Point pistol, probably never will, but Sgt Miller seemed to think them a reasonable self defense tool, so I assume they are.

I'm going with the above four picks, I betcha it will do them all, at least one time:D
(Just maybe not in that order)

They are one of the few guns that can win an ugly contest against a Glock :p

Sgt Miller.....................

Now there's a testimonial!

I think he liked the Jennings too.

OK, ya got me, I wouldn't buy a Jennings to use as a paper weight. Whatever happened to Sgt Miller?

boatme98 02-03-2011 10:19 PM

You know we gotta ask...do you or have you owned one? :D

they are heavy as a boat anchor, beat a glock in an ugly contest hands-down, every bit as comfortable and ergonomic as the most well made brick you will ever come across. All that being said, I've only shot one of a friends and haven't owned one myself, but the one I shot simply wouldn't stop, even after being dropped in the mud and kicked around a bit for the hell of it. It was cheap. It was fairly accurate. yes the safety broke, and hi-point customer service managed to have a new one AT HIS DOOR only 2 days later.
