lead probably. Even a soft flimsy target like a styrofoam plate can pick up a little residue from a really hot, soft, lead projectile moving at high velocity.

Actually, I lied. I wasn't seeing anything but nice neat holes! Was just pullin' their chain.

Maybe call it jealousy 'cause I can't shoot that well.
